He absorbs their spirit, adds his own gentle, poetic vibe, and creates a world that is entirely his own.  

• David Bowie : His Unexpected Muse ?  

What makes Elias even more intriguing is his unlikely idol: David Bowie .  
Yes, he’s more folk than glam rock but he deeply admires Bowie for his boldness , his constant reinvention, and his sincere approach to art. 
 

You can feel that avant-garde spirit in Elias’ music a search for truth, for emotion, for something real.  
Even his stage outfit at Les Trois Baudets reminded me a bit of Bowie’s iconic looks something I noticed while revisiting Bowie’s old performances on YouTube.
